What is Yoga for me???

21st June, International Day of Yoga.

Yoga is a spritual, physical and mental practice, that comprises breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, and, is widely practised for health and relaxation.

Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline that connects mind and body, and maintains the pattern between them.

I do yoga to feel the reality, to bring concentration and to promote peace. I practice yoga to reduce anger and to increase self compassion. I follow yoga to assist myself to feel good and for self awareness that I am alive.

Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind, that modifies the mind stuff.

Yoga improves strength, balance and flexibility. The Slow movements and deep breathing increase blood flow and warm up muscles, while holding a pose can build strength. But besides these I do yoga for spritual enlightenment as I am a religious.

Yoga is a powerful mindfulness practice that inspires me to inhale my future, exhale the past and hold the present.
